  • What we do: Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE) focuses on utilizing Six Sigma, and data analysis to solve manufacturing issues large and small across all forms of technology (https://kcnsc.doe.gov/technologies/technologies-overview) at the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC)
  • Quality Assurance Engineers are responsible for teaming with various technology groups to uncover, analyze and recommend data-backed solutions to manufacturing issues

  • The successful candidate for this entry-level position will do this by learning and utilizing a combination of soft-skills, Six Sigma tools, and problem-solving techniques
  • You will work with a team of other engineers to develop plant-wide strategy, work multiple problem-solving projects, and facilitate process characterization activities
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited program, or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics, or Chemistry
  • US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Energy “”Q”” level security clearance
